This is the first successful export from a Minecraft world to Blender using my (unpublished) tool Wavecraft.

Panorama from a bird's eye view of a Minecraft flatland world. At the edges of the world, normal (non-flatland) chunks are generated, causing a significant cliff because they are a lot taller. On the flatland grass, there is a Blender Suzanne (the mascot monkey) and the 3D text "Render Minecraft worlds in Blender"
